Extensive Pharmaceutical industry experience spans drug discovery and development across several therapeutic areas and disciplines. Formerly accountable for the discovery and development of GlaxoSmithKline’s Ophthalmic Drug portfolio. Leadership in conceptualizing and developing collaborations between GSK and Academic Institutes and Biotechs (Corixa, Exelixis, ChemoCentryx, OncoMed), as Head of Biology, Center of Excellence for Drug Discovery. Built scientific networks in HIV vaccine discovery, Immuno-Oncology and Ophthalmology. International work experience with fluency in English, French and German.
Most recent experience is co-founding and raising SBIR grant support for Prolifagen, a company spun out of University of Pennsylvania with a mission to forward projects in cardiac regeneration.
